Tim joined BP Exploration (Alaska) in 2004 as a Corrosion Engineer. He moved to a central engineering team leader role in Houston in 2009 and has held a variety of team leader and individual contributor roles in the integrity management space.

He is a registered Professional Engineer, certified NACE International Internal Corrosion Specialist and Cathodic Protection Specialist. He is also the current President for NACE International, the largest society for corrosion professionals. He lives in the greater Houston area with his wife – and nearly empty nesting with two kids in college. Tim enjoys woodworking, DIY projects and finding solutions for his 3D printer.

Accountabilities:
• Lead materials & corrosion engineering deep technical experts to provide technical support to deliver bp’s strategy and purpose
• Accountable for the performance and development of materials & corrosion engineering discipline teams.
• Overall responsibility for discipline health of materials & corrosion engineering disciplines across all bp
• Holds a view and understanding of the most significant materials & corrosion engineering risks across bp and identifies appropriate engineering expertise to help manage them

• Corrosion
• Inspection
• Materials & Welding
