Study with ICAM

Current Opportunities

ICAM is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to study for a PhD at Imperial College London, exploring the feasibility of storing hydrogen in water clathrates stabilized within nanoporous materials.

This is an industrially-funded CASE 4-year PhD position, funded by bp and EPSRC and only UK (home) students are eligible to apply. It is aimed at 1st class undergraduate students of Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials, Chemistry or similar disciplines who have confidence in coding, and ideally some background in molecular simulations and machine learning.

If you are interested in applying for this position, or would like further information on eligibility criteria and the application procedure, please contact the project supervisor, Professor Erich Muller, atĀ  or view the advert here.

PhD opportunities are available on a wide-range of research projects, all with real-world applications.
