Lee is a chartered engineer with a Bachelor’s degree & PhD in Metallurgy, and is a senior leader in bp. His responsibilities cut across all bp in the materials discipline, spanning research, concept exploration and engineering. His work includes introduction of new materials, deep understanding and resolution of materials challenges and leverages collaborations with standards organizations, manufacturers and other operators. Lee has been recognised for his contribution to materials science and engineering with awards from bp, IoM3, TWI and NACE. Prior to joining bp, Lee spent over a decade delivering specialist materials engineering support and technology development to multiple industry sectors.
